We understand that many legal needs may have real time constraints that could mean significant consequences and financial repercussions if the timing isn’t met. When we say we’ll have your work done by a particular date, we guarantee it! Your time is valuable, and at Farley Law we feel the same way about our word.
If for any reason a project isn’t completed within the agreed time frame, we’ll offer you a business strategy consultation at no charge, a value of $2,000 plus. This is just another way our philosophy differs from what you’ve come to expect from the average law firm.
Project Billing
Because we offer billing by the project in place of by the minute or hour, we take the fear out of your calling to ask questions relating to your case or project. This saves you money and allows for more open communication – all of which leads to better results.
Pricing and the scope for each project or case will be discussed and agreed upon before moving forward. If we find that new challenges come up during the course of the project that may increase the scope of work or require additional costs, you will be notified immediately – giving you the choice in how to address the matter.

Brent M. Farley
Banking & Corporate Law
Brent Farley has a wealth of knowledge and experience in helping banks and financial institutions identify and stand up new financial services. These new services have ranged from setting up insurance agencies within a bank, to designing payments services, to developing specialized lending programs for fintech services. Brent has also assisted numerous business owners start or acquire dozens of service businesses.
Many successful business owners naturally transition their energies to community development efforts and establishing private foundations. It has also been my pleasure to assist business owners in developing successful foundations and community development efforts as they transition their energies and efforts.
Brent formerly served as Bank Regulatory Counsel, and Tax Credit Counsel at Kennedy Sutherland LLP in San Antonio, Texas. He also served as a Compliance Officer and Counsel at Extraco Banks in Waco, Texas and in commercial lending at Zions Bank in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Brent enjoys playing music, soccer, outdoor activities with family, and rock climbing. One of the latest adventures was hiking and rappelling through Bruja Canyon in Big Bend National Park, Texas.

Ian van Reenen

Ian van Reenen spent the bulk of his career at First United Bank, where he was the top legal and compliance official, assisting the bank with all legal, operational and regulatory matters. Ian also spent time at a Fintech, where he helped navigate the complex regulatory environment affecting emerging financial services companies, including developing compliant algorithmic lending systems, launching consumer-facing products and strengthening bank partnerships.
